Frank Pennington, has his third child in Hornet football this season. Frank’s youngest son, Dan is a freshman on the 2006 Hornets, starting at linebacker and wingback. Logan who graduated in 2006 and played on the 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 Hornets, and was 2nd Team All District last season. Eddie who graduated in 2002, played on the last hornet team to earn a playoff spot in 2001.

Frank's contributions to Hornet Football are numerous, but the most noteworthy is his ability to paint the Hornet on the 50 yard line before each home football game since early this decade. Frank is also the co-founder of Summit Station Licking Heights Youth Football in 2002. Frank also painted the Hornet in the Football locker room, shortly after the new school opened.

Frank coached Summit Station Licking Heights Youth Football in 2002, 2004 Licking Heights Junior High Baseball team assistant coach, LHYA Baseball for several years. Frank has helped with the field maintenance over the years dating back to the Craig Field days and served as a spotter in the press box for a number of years and probably a number of other things that we cannot recall, he is just always there when we need him.

He is an invaluable part of Hornet Football.
